I liked the way the author put this book together. It is interesting and easy to read. I learned several new things about fruits and vegetables that I didn't already know! This is a good book for both kids and adults!
Fun book filled with trivia, as it says, about fruits and vegetables. It is the kind of book that you can quickly read for something interesting to share wherever you might be headed.
OK I think I learned more from this book than my son did. Some really interesting facts about fruits and vegetables but delivered at a level that kids can relate to. I think this is a much better way to approach kids with why they should be eating fruits and vegetables. They can see for themselves the benefits and learn some interesting facts along the way. Did you know both apples and raspberries are in the rose family, I did not!
Although I am not a child, I downloaded the book because it was offered free, and I must say, I learned some things I didn't know and found it quite impressive. I recommend this as a learning book.
Great book full of fun trivia and fact for kids. My son really enjoyed learning about fruits and veggies. We were fascinated that bananas were not fruits! We'd love to see a ten pound onion! Next time you eat a strawberry, figure out how many seeds are on it! The book is full of beautiful photos too.
We learned lots while reading through this fun, trivia kid's book. So many of the facts we had never heard of before now. We discovered a fruit that orangutans love to eat! Did you know that a variety of peach is flat like a hockey puck? We had no idea!
A very enjoyable read for children of all ages and adults that love to learn interesting trivia facts.
We thoroughly enjoyed this little trivia book. The author has done a great job presenting many intriguing facts. Did you know that pineapple is actually made up of several fruits stuck together? Who would have known watermelons are actually vegetables. This book will keep children entertained learning the goodness of fruits and vegetables provided by mother nature.
